A completely unofficial, independently made film inspired by The Lord Of The Rings trilogy gaining an audience of millions online. Adapted from elements of the book`s appendices, it follows the Heir of Isildur; the `greatest huntsman and traveler in Middle Earth` as he sets out to find the creature Gollum to discover the truth about the Ring and to protect the future Ringbearer.

Using digital HDV cameras, shooting in North Wales with a volunteer cast and crew the film was funded by the film-makers themselves on a budget of just £3,000. This is an impressive and convincing prequel to Jackson`s trilogy with stunning effects. We hope to be joined by the director Chris Bouchard, who will introduce the screening.
