Project Outline
Yarn and Yarn regularly hold lively meetings at Chapter Arts Centre for local knitters to share ideas and meet fellow creatives in a fun, informal setting. The group has been invited to host knitting sessions during the Faire. All ages and members of the public can come along, enjoy a nice cup of tea and have the chance to knit their very own technological gifts, or they can be taken home to keep for yourself! There will be knitting patterns available to purchase on the day as well as pre-made media mittens for younger children to decorate and transform into weird and wonderful creatures!
Biography
Yarn and Yarn is a local knitting group that is constantly growing in members of friendly crafty people who regularly meet up in venues throughout Cardiff to show their talents and make collaborative work including knitting, crochet, quilting, sewing and embroidery. The main focus of the groups is to socialise and share ideas and thoughts with fellow craft makers and get actively involved in local community projects and artist-led events.
